Who we are
DateCard is operated by Queens Agency OÜ, registry code 17341372, an Estonian company. For any question about your data, write to hello@datecard.ee.
What we collect from senders
When you sign in with Google we store your name, email address and Google account identifier. When you build a card we store what you typed into it — the recipient's name, your question, your nag texts and the content revealed after a yes.
What we collect from recipients
This is the part most people do not expect, so we state it plainly: if you open a card someone sent you, the sender is shown how many times you pressed “no”, how many seconds you spent on the page, the order in which you pressed the buttons, and when you first opened the link. We do not store your name, your account or your IP address in readable form. Your IP address is hashed with a secret salt purely to rate-limit abuse, and cannot be reversed back to you.
Cookies
A strictly necessary cookie identifies your browser to a single card so the counters above cannot be trivially inflated. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner.
Legal basis and retention
Sender data is processed to perform the contract you entered into when you paid for a card. Recipient interaction data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in delivering the product the sender paid for — a card that reports back is the product. Card content is retained so senders keep their history; you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and you may object to processing. Write to hello@datecard.ee. You also have the right to complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate.
Processors
We use Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Stripe (payments), inbox.eu (email) and Google (sign-in). Payment card details never reach our servers.
